Public Health 2026 is a national conference organized by the Canadian Public Health Association. The conference brings together health professionals, researchers, public decision-makers, academics, and students with the goal of improving the health of Canadians by sharing the latest research findings.
Dr. Eve Dubé and members of the Chair’s team will be participating to present their work. On March 12, Dr. Dubé will take part in a session entitled “Sustaining Trust, Advancing Equity – Emerging Challenges and Opportunities in Vaccination: An Applied Public Health Chairs Symposium,” which aims to foster dialogue and mutual understanding across disciplines in order to strengthen trust in vaccination, safety, and equitable access. Dr. Dubé will also participate in a session entitled “Community Engagement as a Transformative Force in Public Health: A Symposium with Applied Public Health Chairs,” highlighting the principles of authentic community engagement, proposing strategies for equitable partnerships, and drawing lessons from concrete examples to improve public health practices.
The Chair will also present a poster entitled “Immunization in Correctional Settings: Challenges and Opportunities in Quebec.” This work stems from a project aimed at identifying key health-related issues, barriers, and vaccination promotion practices in Quebec correctional facilities.
