Benjamin Malo, PhD candidate in anthropology, will present the results of a study on the situational analysis of 240 memes related to the COVID-19 pandemic that were shared on 15 French Canadian Facebook pages. This analysis helped to better understand the cultural and local grounding of these memes and to explore how they reflected and criticized the Quebec’s economic, political, and social contexts.
